Laptop for my grandma...

Walt

Hi everyone!

My grandma's old laptop just died. (It was an old laptop which runned windows XP so it's not that strange xD

Because of this she would like a new laptop. The price is around 400 euros (in the Netherlands) and the only thing she is going to do is using e-mail and google. The only preference she would like is a 'big' screen.

I would like some help because I'm not sure which CPU to pick. I don't know if a duo core would be enough and if so which cpu's or okay to get.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!!

My own build: RΛZΞR theme

See, my grandmas laptop kicked out this year too and she only uses it for email and internet browsing.

I got mine an iPad and she loves it, why not look into that?

Doesn't have to be a new one if it's not in your budget.

She got an IPad and I exactly said the same thing but... she wants a big screen and she says the IPad screen isn't big enough...

Does she need a laptop, or could a cheap AIO PC work for her? It would be more portable than a PC if she's just moving it around the house especially if you get a cheap wireless keyboard/mouse and would have alot of screen real estate.

Probably a laptop, if she's anything like mine she likes to sit in the garden/on the couch/at the table. Depending on time of day etc... haha

I'll have a look now OP.

Thought the same thing but the display probably isn't big enough. I don't remember if they have a 14in or 15.6 in model
