gtx 1080 Headbreaking perfomance issue

Hey guys!

first of all im a newbie on the forum So uhm hi i guess

 

but now let's get to my problem wich is messing with my head really bad. 

 

first of all the specs: 

corsair rm750x psu (don't know for sure if its a rm but it is 750 watts) 

i7-4770(non k) 

msi h97 gaming 3 mb

msi geforce 1080 gaming x (factory oc)

32 gb corsair 1600 mhz ram 

samsung 750 ssd 

a old 2tb mech hdd 5400 or 7200 rpm dont know for sure (game drive) (issue?) 

 

so here is the problem: 

 

in games like gta v or pubg or even beam ng and also rust or other games

my fps does not come above 70 rarely above 50 even! 

my cpu usage is for example is 50 to 70% MAX (70% is really rare) and gpu is around 30 to 50% in gta v

in beam ng its even worse, 

 

both the values are around 30% constant nothing more 

 

this thing is really messing with my head 

 

troubleshooting i have done: 

Reinstalled windows (2 times 1 time because my ram died ;( ) 

installed latest nvidia driver also several times 

reinstalled most the games 

i really tried every thing i knew 

 

and i know in really cpu intensive games my i7 is not going to be good enough but 40 fps on gta v come on even my gtx 770 reached 80 fps  

 

 

I really hope someone can help!

pugb is very badly optimized. 

turn off that AA

So ehm yeah hi again, 

sorry for the late update i had a holiday without internet (i know, hate me right?!) 

 

So i went to testing and these are the results: 

GTA V

 

temps:

GPU: around 50 to 65 degree C depending on scene/gameplay

CPU: stable 50/55 degree (some days 75 degree when the sun was on my room a hole day and my room was around 45 degrees (did not impact performance tho)) 

 

usage:

CPU: 50/75% (again depending) 

GPU (55/100%) the 100% only occured in cinematics not in gameplay

 

Clockspeeds

CPU (non k so not overclocked) 3699 mhz/ 3700 mhz wich i find kinda weird cus my cpu is rated to 3.9 ghz boost wich it never reaches only in aida 64) 

GPU stable oc: core/2050 mhz memory 5525/11050 mhz  

 

fps (120 in benchmarks 40/60 in game) 

 

ARK 

is around the same only 40 fps on high/medium

 

but now the weird thing: 

cinebech r15

 

my friend scored 600 something on cpu and

99 fps on open gl 

his specs: i5 7400 no k 

and a msi ... ... ... gtx 1060 (model and oc not known) 

 

and now my score: 

with the i7 and 1080

 

CPU: 850+- wich looks fine to me 

but now the weird one 

open gl: 93 fps 

 

and again the problem: gpu usage 40/50% during the test 

 

iam seriously headbroken at the moment and i seriously do not want to spend 1000+€ just to find out it changed nearly nothing 

 

and yeah the upgrade will be around 1000€:

new mobo 

new ram

new cooler

new cpu 

 

seriously i need help! 

 

hope someone can help me!

oh and btw other games not really tested at the moment
