PC blackscreening/weird gfx/sound loop

Hello everyone

A month back I started having problems with my computer. I started having weird sound loops, my mouse cursor was lagging hard and had all sorts of colours (Red, Green, Blue, ..). Last week my PC also had a black screen and it recovered and a message popped up saying: your graphic drivers have crashed but have successfully restored (or something like that).

I wanted to test my graphics card to see if that was causing it so I took my GFX card out. The only problem is I don't know how I can test it since my motherboard (Asus P8P67 LE) doesn't have a DVI/VGA/HDMI port or anything.

Any advice? Or do you perhaps know what's causing these problems?

I'd greatly appreciate some intel on how to solve this.

PC Specs:

  • Asus GTX 560 Ti (GFX card)
  • H50 Cooling on Intel i7 2600 (Processor)
  • OCZ 600OCZMXP (600W PSU)
  • Asus P8P67 LE (Motherboard)
  • 8GB (in 2 pieces of 4) G. Skill DDR3 1600 (RAM)
  • Windows 7 64 bit (OS)
  • Samsung Evo 256GB (SSD)

Thanks in advance

Wotsy

Do you have another gfx card? Another  pc to take it out? If so borrow the card from another pc and try if it works.

Aaaand did you try updating you graphics drivers? You may need to go for system restore to before your pc started having issues.. or just for a clean windows reinstall for the best..
