Looking for IP camera

I am looking for a IP camera that allow me to send video motion to a FTP server without software after setting it up. It also should have decent video quality and it would be nice if not POE as i don't really have POE switch yet and i don't really want to run a injector. For outdoor usage.

Why would you not want to run a POE injector? 1 cable to connect the camera and you are done.

Providing a power supply to the camera is more of a hassle outside. You'll need a adapter anyway.

 

But thats besides the point as most POE camera's also have a power connector.

 

Budget wise a Dahua is a nice one with the ability to use FTP and many more services.

 

Be aware tho, video motion is a bit wanky as it will trigger on many things. Including light changes in the screen

Does that save motion to FTP as video not just a screencap?

I have a Triax camera which can save directly to FTP. It is POE but has a 12v power jack along with the RJ45 connector. I actually believe that it is a re-branded Hikvision bullet camera, so look at them.
