So i am trying to neaten up my setup and i have a Modmic 4.0 and Audio Technica MSR-7 Headphones.

The one thing that is pissing me off is the two cables making my setup look worse.

I've tried threading them through some outer stuff of paracord (whatever you call it) and it didn't fit.

Is there any other way that I can sleeve the two cables so that it can look better.

Thanks

For the MSR-7s at least, you can just buy a pre-sleeved 3.5mm to 3.5mm or 6.35mm (depending on what connection it's going to) and use that with them. One of the best parts about the MSR-7s is the use of a standard 3.5mm jack.

from what i understand, he wants to put both in one sleeve.

In that case, some MDPC type sleeving designed for SATA cables may work. It's wider so should fit two cables in.

or just buy the sleeving directly from a manufacturer? its not hard to get a hold of, and you can choose the size literally by the millimeter.

If you don't value your warranty (at least for the headphone cable, no idea about the modmic), and have some fairly basic soldering skills, you can cut the jacks off at one end, feed the cables through and reconnect.

You could also mod the modmic, and purchase some 3/4core shielded audio cable, to run signals for both in the headphones and mic in the same wire. Although if you do that, any form of warranty on the modmic is gone, (assuming the cable is non-detachable.)
