LAPTOP BATTERY ISSUES

So I have a dell 15 5555, and every time i do some heavy tasks or game, the battery level goes down even when i am pluged to the wall... right now it has 50% wear level, should i remove the battery?, also to note, i have conected and hdmi to vga conector, an external hardrive and a cooler master cooling pad
