Well, the reference cards haven't been released yet so it's hard to say. However, partner cards definitely WILL be released...probably a few days to weeks after.

Current NCIX listing is as the same price as a 1080 Ti: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=AS2222204719

Hopefully US prices stay near MSRP.

I will not spend that kind of money on Vega 64.

$500 I think is a fair price if the performance is there with the 1080, but I wouldn't spend over $600.

I might as well get a 1080TI and use fast sync.

US prices seem to be also $100 over MSRP.

So far with Fry's.

If that's how this is going to be, then I won't be buying one :)

It really sucks that you can't get a good mid-range gpu anymore. You have to chance the used market and only cards to get anything at the midrange level. I'm going to be buying a used r9 390x and hope by Christmas that etherum dies so I can actually buy a Vega.

I am still kicking myself for not jumping on Polaris early.

I am sitting here playing some games on low with my R9 380 2GB and looking to fork over for Vega just to have something with longevity and a fair price.

Never gonna happen, how's that r9 380 performing?

Overall, not terribly.

It did mostly what I wanted at the time (Fall 2015), which was 1080P 60fps gaming with giving into some settings tweaks.

However, I am getting back into PC gaming and just invested in a 75hz UHD (2560x1080) monitor with Freesync.

Freesync has added more longevity for sure, as this card will stay above 40fps~ with settings tweaks in most games.

I just want to hit the 75fps minimum sweet spot, any any dips smoothed out by Freesync.

I also want to get into VR gaming as well.

That's where Polaris made sense, and that's especially where Vega makes sense.

It's a real shame, honestly.

Yes, I really want Vega but those dam miners are going to pre order 10000 Vega 56s which is what most people will want.

Also the packs aren't going to change anything, 100 isn't going to stop miners from getting there hands on cards with a hash rate of 70.
