Bouncy CPU Temp

Go to solution Solved by AngelHT,

I just finished smashing my head against the wall ... i noticed that my cpu fan were set on super silent mode that reduces quite a lot the rpms. Everything is fine now temp doesnt go higher than 70. Thanks TheGlenlivet for answering so fast i appreciate that :)

Hi everyone,

I'been having some issues with the cpu temperature...on idle it ranges from 70 C° to 40 C° in a non linear way (attached a screenshot to make myself clear). On a simple benchmark on CPU-Z it reaches over 80 C°. Any idea why is that?

My specs are as follow

Cpu: i5 7600k 3.8Ghz (OC at 4.2 1.245volt)

Graphic Card: Asus ROG Strix GTX1060 6gb (OC at 1809Mhz)

Ram: Corsair Vengance 8x2Gb DDR4 3000Mhz

Motherboard: Asus Prime Z270-A

CPU Fan: CoolerMaster Hyper 212X

SO: Windows 10 x64

PSU: Corsair 650W

Bios: V. 0906

Everything is up to date

Also my case should be in negative pressure airflow. Let me know if I've missed something. Hoping you guys can help me understand what's the problem I wish you a good day :)

Pretty normal.  The cpu is constantly changing load and voltage so it won't be a perfect straight line in a graph.  Even during benchmarks or folding/mining with 100% pegged on all cores, the temp still fluctuates.  It looks fine to me.
