I seem to be on here a lot for my PC not working which makes me cri

My PC WILL turn on when my harddrive and ssd are unplugged and not connected

When my hdd + ssd are plugged in all I hear is a little click and then nothing turns on. Because my PC will turn on without them plugged in I am positive that they are the problem.

I have tried different SATA cables and all that. I have tried using only the ssd and only the hdd but nothing

plz help

One of them is causing some sort of short. I have seen this when the HDD and SSD are on the same chain of sata power connectors. Most PSU come with 2 sets of sata power connectors so you can try that . Normaly the system will still post if only one of the two are connected.

Have you tried another power supply? Maybe the issue is the PSU sata power connectors.
