keep loosing connection

my internet connection keeps cutting out, it just comes and goes. anyway to diagnose what the problem is? I think it's just my shitty card cause I still have internet on my tablet that's next to my pc

Is your PC using wireless or wired?

 

Check for updated drivers?

I have a cable modem rogers hi speed

Restarting the devices usually fixes most problems.

Both, start with restarting the modem then when the lights start flashing when it is coming back up, restart your pc.

I have done that before and I still have the same problem. the internet connection comes and goes comes back and goes

I never installed any drivers for the wifi card

You can install drivers two ways, first would be go to the website of the manufacture that makes your card and get them there, or you can go to device manager in windows and find your card there and update drivers.

If you do device manager its more than likely going to find a generic driver

Perhaps you should check for MoBo driver updates as well
