External backup drive

Hi, so I am looking for an external hard drive to backup my photos and documents. I am choosing between Seagate Backup plus slim portable and Western digital my passport, both 2TB. I read some comments saying that seagate drives are less reliable though. Which drive would you recommend? By the way, reliability is the most important factor for me, don't care about looks or price.

I have that seagate drive and I run it 24/7 and I havnt had any issues yet
