New case vibates my mouse?

Go to solution Solved by Vandorlot,

It could also be your hard drive. A mechanical hard drive with a little space can transmit the vibrations something fierce. The drive is most likely fine. Take the drive out of the cage, place some thin foam or felt alongside it, and get it back in the cage with plenty of screws. This will reduce the vibrations.

I know that sounds weird but its true. Today I upgraded my PC case to a Corsair carbide air 540. I needed another case so figured I would get something new for my own setup.

So with that said, that means I put all my old hardware in there with the addition of 3 Corsair fans that came with the case and a plastic brace to support my graphics card that was sagging just a bit.

This system is vibrating my mouse which is positioned a bit behind the case on the table. It is not vibrating anything else, just the mouse. It also goes completely unnoticed until I place my hand on it.  Its driving me crazy!

The whole system is fine and everything is well secured.

This case also has the hard drive mounted right on the very bottom of the case. Maybe it could be that? I don't know.

One thing I did notice is that with the corsair fans don't have any kind of rubber on the parts where the fans are mounted. However I have unplugged all but the cpu fans and the vibration still happens. The only fans I cant really unplug are the graphics and PSU fans.

What can I do to get this to stop?

I'm going to try this right now, I have a feeling that's what it might be.
