Hi all, this question is a little bit hard to answer because my rig is very unbalanced.

AMD FX-8120 at 3.1ghz and boosts up to 3.4ghz (its on aio water)
EVGA GTX 1070
16gig of DDR3
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3
3x 1080p 60hz monitors. One through DVI, one through HDMI, and one through Dport.

None of my parts are overclocked.

I've been noticing major fps problems forever, but always assumed it was just the CPU bottlenecking the GPU.
The other day I ran Unigen superposition at:
1080p Extreme and got a score of 3463 (the GPU was between 90% and 100% utilization at all times during the benchmark)
1080p Med and got a score of 9833
720p Low and got a score of 10565

In all categories apart from 1080p extreme, I scored below every other entry. Do any of you have experience with this? Is my GPU bad, or is this just GPU bottleneck.

Benchmark score/details screenshots attached below.

720p is a bottleneck. Overclock the CPU and see how the scores are affected

You need to change your CPU, it can't keep up with a gtx 1070
