Hello i have been using my 970 with no issues for about a year and half. now with one of the new drivers it wont boot. i just get an error saying that windows auto recovery (or what ever it is called) wasnt able to fix the issue. this just started about 2 weeks ago. what would happen is i could play games with no issue, but as soon as i would watch a video on youtube i would get a checkerboard pattern and then i would freeze. so i installed the new graphics driver and it worked for a day. the next day i would turn it on and would get the message that it wouldnt boot and auto recovery didnt fix the issue. i posted a post about this a few days ago. people where telling me to check my mobo, RAM, and my gpu it self. first thing i did was install my old 750ti and it works like a charm. no issues with anything. But i want my 970 back! i feel like its not dead. would installing the drivers by using DDU be more effective? im just very confused with my 970 and quite angry. i know this post is all over the place and might be a bit confusing so if you need any other info just ask. thanks!
