So I've been running ios 9.3.3 for a long time now because of my jailbreak, but my developer's signature ran out and I have no need to be running on that IOS. So today I updated and it ended up taking me about 7 or 8 tries.

I ended up having to re-install itunes (because it couldn't preform the update) and then it finally worked.

On to the issue. I noticed when I was done that I had about 20gb missing from my ssd. I'm pretty sure after cancelling and redoing the update so many times that itunes created update files that might be taking up a good chunk of my space.

I'm not even sure if itunes is to blame I just have no idea what else it could be. If it is itunes I just need to know where to find the files so I can delete them.

Thanks for the help in advance.

A quick google search reveals where iTunes stores its' IPSW firmware files on your computer:

IMO, Apple should be a lot more transparent about things, but then again, it took them over 10 years to finally implement a half-assed file system on iOS, so I won't hold my breath.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, 5060 Ti) Mobile: Moto Razr 50 Ultra (Razr+ 2024) | 30GB CAN+US+MEX $30/month
Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 7i (16") 82UF0015US (i7-12700H, 16GB/2TB RAM/SSD, A370M GPU) Tablet: Lenovo Tab Plus (256GB)
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)
