(Updated) $30 headphones needed

So I just found out Amazon is a total bitch and is a degradation of what it used to be, and now almost every good item is dominated with Prime. So my mom allowed me to buy headphones with a bigger budget. A 30$ budget.

I'm not sure if this'll help too much, but I'm determined bigger price range= more diverse headphones.

It can be around $30, but please make it below 36$. That's the maximum budget.

Additionally, please don't make it covered by Prime. It'd be a total ass to our financial situation if we got the membership.

P.S: Item has to be from Amazon. My mom has an Amazon Gift Card and she wants to use it.

EDIT: Forgot to put uses of the headphones.

I'll mainly just use it to watch anime and YouTube videos.
A bit of gaming, but mostly for internet use.

EDIT EDIT: I used to have used BOSE headphones. But I left those at a tire store during a car trip recently.

Now I downgraded to some $5 cheap headphones from Walmart.

What exactly is the issue with prime?  You can still buy all the same items without it...

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

What? No you can't. It didn't work when I tried purchasing it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Can you link me to the product you're looking at?

I think this started 2 years ago.

Anyway, do you have any particular $30 headphones suggestions?

Perhaps the Superlux HD681 https://www.amazon.com/Superlux-681-Dynamic-Semi-Open-Headphones/dp/B002GHIPYI/

Just reading through the Audio topic's recommended options under $50, that has a description which is least disagreeable.

I don't like the design and structure of it. Do you have anymore recommendations?

I'm not sure what you're coming from so it's hard to know what would be a worthwhile improvement, but I've heard that the hyperX clouds (and II, or any other variation - just get the cheapest, they come in different kinds of bundles) are rather good considering it's a gaming headset, and should be in your price range if you find the right model

I used cheap $5 headphones from WalMart that head little comfort and sound quality that seemed okay to me, but terrible viewed by others.

The only problem I had with those headphones was the padding. It was made from cheap leather-like material and was NOT soft at all.

I've endured.

Another thing I've heard about the clouds is they're quite comfortable so that should be a nice improvement as well

I should say though that both these things are things I've heard form others - I've never tried them myself

Hm, perhaps logitech G230s then... I only have one (third party) data point for the audio quality and comfort but again, they're both good.

Er.. is the mic detachable?

hm, I don't think so... I suppose that could be a problem depending how you want to use it.  I'm kinda out of ideas at this point though, I hope someone else who knows something good but cheap comes along lol

How about the Monoprice 8323?

https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-108323-Headphone-Gold-Plated-Accessories/dp/B007SP2CO2

This is almost a duplicate of the Kicker HP541-TJ. It's made by the same supplier.

Sorry, I didn't notice that.

You can order it straight from Monoprice. It'd even cost you less.

The thing is, I have to order it from only Amazon. There's an Amazon gift card my mom has that she wants to use.

Why not just get these and then spend the gift card on something else at a later date?  Amazon has tons of stuff, you'll find a use eventually for sure :)
