NZXT s340 case front io audio not working

the front 3.5mm ports (in and out) on my s340 case dont work although the usb ports work.

anyone had this problem?

is the audio device for your onboard audio set to default?

no i have a headset that i plug in to the back that is the default because i always have a 7.1 usb headset plugged in

that's probably why your front header isn't working. In order to get audio out through the front i/o, your default device should be set to the onboard mobo audio device

if you mean drivers like the realtek ones then those work when there is stuff plugged in strait to my mobo but the drivers dont pick up any device in the front io when i plug it in
