Wassup!

 

Ok simple question, complicated possible solution.

 

I have two computers here. PC and Mac Pro.

I do all the editing on the mac, and all the gaming on the PC (duh).

Now, no matter how fast things are, I always hate how much they take (rendering, exporting... I shoot in 2.7K because I use a GoPro and it doesn't stabilize at 4K, and because 2.7K is already painful enough to preview etc, and because I need higher framerates to shoot in the dark, which the GoPro also doesn't do in 4K)
Now for the question itself:
Is there a way to use ALL the hardware I have available to help premiere do things faster?
Say, if I added a MacBook Pro (I'm getting one to edit on the go), or even another PC (I'm probably building a second one anyway)...
The idea is just to have everything with a processor and GPU, helping out.

 

Possible? If so, how? If not, why not?

P.S.: Keep Mac vs. PC arguments out of this post, please.

you can build a cheap render box with old xeons, you can find an old dell r710, add 2 6 cores go up to 32gb of ram, and maybe add a gtx 1050ti for cuda acceleration. if you grab one with 3.5in hdd you can have a box to store your files on also

you need to send it to a adobe media encoder render server you setup
