buy a used GTX 980 or 980ti. your normal choice would be to go for something like a GTX 1060 or RX480/580... but pricing on those units are incredibly inflated right now and there is no chance of you getting them for a reasonable price. a used 980 would give you the same-ish performance (980ti would give much better performance, more in line with a gtx 1070) and would cost you, probably, a lot less than the current retail price of said cards.
