Hi,

I got some performance issues with my newest config. And unfortunatelly i am not able to solve that on my own.

First of all my new specs:

1x AMD Ryzen 7 1800x (8 Core)

1x MSI Mortar B350M AM4

2x MSI RX580 Gaming X 8G

2x 16GB Corsair DDR-4 2133 (currently got some problems with the 64GB 2666 Quad Kit from Corsair)

1x Samsung 960 EVO 512GB M.2 NVMe

2x Seagate 2,5" Hybrid 1TB SATA 3 as Raid 0 (small local data store)

1x BeQuiet! 650 Watt Dark Power Pro

1x Thermaltake V21 Case

1x LG 34UC97-S Curved (connected with HDMI 2.0 cable to the primary GraCa)

Yeah, it looks very nice. Data transfer rate is also quiet nice, compared to my old SSD Raid 1. OS is running very smooth and i got a big improvement on CAD, Unity and some other rendering or calculating applications. And if i think many years ago on my AMD Athlon - it's quiet. But, if i now run a game i feel like i proceeded a downgrade from the GTX 780.

F.E. i was in Overwatch with my old PC on medium details and same resolution 3440x1440 ~100 fps if there was action around ~80 fps. Most games where running quiet smoothly and even the witcher 3 was playable without any droprates or lags. Or Borderland 2 was running awesome. Anyway ... AND now ? .... :S:(

If i run Overwatch on medium! specs in 3440x1440 i have somewhat around ~40 fps. If i set to FullHD 1920x1080 i get ~60-61 fps on action ~46 fps and i have graphic issues ... missing or corrupted textures, Flickering screen or objects and it felt hard to describe, some kind of delay ... like you have a high ping (but i don`t have ~13-20 ms). No overheating, no core throttling, any reason from my sight that results in such performence issues.

Once out of the Game everything is smooth again, then i proceeded with some other games - just for testing. F.E. Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 is on 3440x1440 nearly unplayable ... if i reduce on 1920x1080 i have something around 30-32 fps on medium details. Even games like Software Inc., Euro Truck Simulator or Cities Skylines are absolutly low on performence what i nearly played on max details with previous setup (not Skylines, but nearly).

What i did so far, BIOS Update for the MB - reviewed the whole config and the OC settings (some where active even if i used default non-oc profile, but anything related to GPU only CPU). Installed MSI Control Center and set preset to Gaming. Also installed the Gaming App to review stats during the most games (fps, core usage percentage, temperature, etc.) there where some optimization profiles in that, but maybe gained 2-3 fps in total. Check the Cataclyst drivers, but i am a bit lost with AMD arrangement, check basics f.e. is crossfire on, etc.

And then i did some Benchmark, compare to my girls ASUS GTX1080 Founders Edition ... i am TOP.

Cinebench OpenGL - she got 102,42 and i got 106,11 (Off-Topic, but CPU i got 1572 and her i7-4770K only 822)

3D Mark 11 i am 4000 Points above her system.

Firestrike i lose a bit to the average, but still 1500 Points over her system.

And still Overwatch and co. i running like s**t ... i would highly appreciate if someone have a hint or a tipp how to solve that issue.

Cheers,

MasterBPM
