Hi all,

I currently own a Logitech G700s and while its been a great mouse for my gaming purposes (mmo and moba gaming), its beginning to fade in its ability to click and scroll. The only thing holding me back from just going right out an replacing it outright is the $80 price point for a new one on amazon. Especially considering this mouse released in 2013. Thus, I have taken the past several weeks and researched alternatives and have concluded that there are only 3 mice I would consider as alternatives:

Roccat Tyon

Steelseries 500

Logitech G602

***I like to put my hands on a mice prior to buying it, I went out to my local Microcenter and tried out all three mice prior to coming to the following conclusions.**

Generally speaking, I found that a) the Roccat was certainly an interesting and intuitive button design for an attractive $68 price point, but i don't know much at all about the brand b) the rival500 was great to hold and I loved the button layout (mostly) for  nice price of $64 I almost bought it right there. However, im apparently nuerotic because i continued to do some research and consistently came across articles stating that it has/had issues randomly dying and switching dpi settings, so i'm nervous to purchase without some commentary to the contrary. Lastly the G602 feels comfortable, it's $40 and has a great button layout. I just wish it had a center mouse wheel that clicked left/right/in (for 3 extra bind-able buttons) but it doesn't feel like works (possibly just SUPER firm??).

Please provide your thoughts on these 3 mice. The more detail the better!

Thanks,

Jano

honestly man i had the g602 and the g700 and i absolutely hated them.  felt cheap, and whenever i clicked the back would tilt up.  i decided to get the corsair m65 and i dont think ill ever find anything better.  feels super sturdy and comes with weights.  i usually dont like buying cheap.  if i spend the extra money on a good tool, its worth it but in this case the m65 is sooo much better and it has a sniper button lol

Thanks for the response! I will put this into the consideration pool.
