Crossfire now

 

i would like to scale my build down and i can crossfire later if i want to. what are yalls thoughts?

I would shrink down if you want a smaller system and then Crossfire later and maybe watercool it

 

Edit: If you are finding the R9 280x not powerful enough then I would recommend getting the Crossfire.

i actually have a 7970 and i game at 1440p in some games i have to turn down the settings (AA and such) 

 

im watercooling ATM with an H220.

 Me too. still waiting for availability on a 280X. but think about it. LTC mining will probably be a thing for at least 3 months. You could get enough money for both options in that time.
