The witcher 3 quest problems

So I'm enjoying the witcher 3 right now when my quest marker went away. Does anyone know how to get it back. I mean the white dots on the minimap. i have no idea where im going now.

If something is really far or in another 'world' it will not be there. 

 

Solution: go to the minimap -> press on the mouse wheel -> look where the quest is (which part of the world -> teleport to the place

Install the quest mod from nexus. You can track all quest with it easy. And you will get full xp even the quest ist grey.

Some quests won't have a marker, and instead have some vague story based description like "Find Ciri". Your supposed to play other main or side quests until your far enough for the original one to be relevant again. Mind saying what the quest is your having trouble with?
