Graphics Card Upgrade

Hey guys, currently in my rig right now I have a xfx 6950. 

I would like to know whats the best upgrade that less than $400

If you sell your xfx 6950, adding onto your budget of $400 to give you round about maybe 50-100 dollars you could get a 290.

Wait a while, they will probably release another cooler design as the reference one can barely handle the temperatures.

 

Just cause I finally have written "try a 290" so & so. Why do people like it ...I'm totally confused.

Can you tell us the specs of the rest of your system first please?

R9 280X for the AMD side and a GTX 770 for the Nvidia side.

This is also a great plan.
Also, NEVER buy an AMD reference card unless you're going to do watercooling.

If you sell your card for some good money and stretch the budget, you can get a 780.
