Memory_Management

So since I've built my pc, I've had 8gb DDR4 corsair vengeance memory in the 0 slot. I just bought another stick of the same exact thing, I installed the ram with the other stick. No matter what slots I try I always get the memory_management blue screen crash. I want to upgrade to 16gb but I dont know what I'm doing wrong.
