I finally got a new laptop (HP x360 13-u113nl) but I'm stuck with 128GB of storage. My question is pretty simple: should I use an SD card to add some extra gigs to my storage?

I know they are not the most reliable long-term storage, but if I keep backups (andI do), which SD should I consider?

I don't think I can open this laptop without saying goodbye to warranty. or without breaking something

There's nothing wrong with getting an SD card, as long as you using it for low bandwidth data like documents and pictures. Though if speed is a concern, you should get something that's rated at UHS-I (though this may be a wash since its minimum speed is 12.5MB/s), UHS-II, or U3.

I think I'll limit myself at UHS-I, no need for the extra pins if the sd reader doesn't have them :D

Also, yeah it would be just as extra storage for docs or maybe music and some movies. I have enough space on the M.2 drive for my workload
