CS:GO Widescreen Blackbars

Thue500

Hi I have recently bought a Asus ultra wide monitor but when I play CS:GO the game won't scale up to 2560x1080 (I have been reading on this) then i thought lets just scale it down to a 16:9 1920x1080 and have the black bars. But that didn't happen now the resolution is also stretched, I then went online looking up the problem but I could only find people having the problem with Nvidia cards which doesn't help when I am using AMD.

'

So can you please help me to get CS:GO on my ultra wide monitor down to 16:9 1920x1080 with black bars?
