Corsair Utility Engine Audio Issue

Hello.

I've been fiddling with the CUE to try and get the added functionality of my new Scimitar. But it was having problems. The key remaps for the number/symbol rows were not registering in game and someone said to uninstall it and clear the HID's. I don't think clearing any of the HID's is a good idea so I didn't (if anyone would like to help with this remapping issue, feel free). But as soon as I uninstalled Corsair's software, it broke my audio. Now I have zero sound.

The audio icon in the tray just has an "X" over it and says the audio service is not running. And of course the troubleshoot option does nothing. 

 

What do I do? :c

 

Ok well, an odd two restarts fixed the issue so...I guess, I'm gucci now. But if someone would like to aid in that Corsair Utility Engine remapping issue I'm having, I'd appreciate that!
