Hi there,

I am running 2 x ASUS gtx 670 DC2T edition which is factory overclocked

The factory overclocked is at 1137 mhz for the core and the memory at 6008mhz

I was able to get both of my card stable using furmark at 1220mhz for core and 7400mhz for memory

It run the 15 min furmark test with no problem and at max temp of 40c on both

However when I run games such as COD black ops2, the game froze

can anybody help me with this?

Why do people insist on running Furmark? What is the reason you choose to base your overclock around Furmark?

You need to use Heaven benchmarks and games to test for stabillity. Furmark DOES NOT test for stability, it is a burn test, and the GPU will protect itself against running to hot and potentially being damaged.

Start by completely removing your memory overclock, and focus only on the core speed. Test this in games for a week, before starting to play with the memory.

Also, 670 SLI for CoD? lol :)

Randomize hit it right on the head. Just because it passes 72 hours of Furkmark does not mean it is game stable. Furmark is great if you want to find out your max temperature.

Heaven is nice but always test your overclock with the programs you use or games. Even use YouTube videos as a stability test.

can you make screenshot of temps when load at 100% ? cuz its some strange with your temps... // and testing for stability must be not only 15min and OK no bluescreen etc. ... its fine... yeay...

The temp should be normal since I have it in my water loop but I will post the furmark result once I got home

If the overclock can pass 3DMark Vantage then it's stable. A trick I learned from Tiny Tom Logan .
Which is hilarious because the developers of Vantage state that it's not meant to be used as a stability test (this is why they only allow 3 loops max).
