My buddy has a Ryzen 1500x and a 1050ti on a gigabyte b350 motherboard. I have a 1060 6gb so I wanted to see how much my cpu (a i3 4350) was affecting gaming, we swapped our gpu's played swapped back and now he is telling me it is loading and windows in perpetually loading. Can someone help me help him. We also put my ssd with a bunch of games in his rig but I had him check iss hdd was top of boot order.

Probably did not apply thermal paste and fucked his cpu up, be ready to buy a new cpu for your buddy...

try cleaning out and reinstalling drivers in safe mode. if windows 10 fails to boot two times in a row, it should boot into the troubleshooting boot

if you're just gonna spread vitriol, then go somewhere else.. and if you actually read OP's post in its entirety, you would know they switched GPU's, not a intel and amd cpu with eachother..
