Because I have already had increasingly irritating interactions with a particular user and would like to avoid their content? Same reason you'd block anyone on a forum lol

Not harassment. Just misgendering me and not apologizing, super difference of opinion on topics that are sensitive to me, etc. I'd rather just avoid them.
