Low gpu usage at games please help

Hi guys i just assembled a pc

i5 7600k, gtx 1080 and 8gb ram

and my gpu usage is only 55-60% and i am not getting the maximum fps 

please help

Look at your cpu usage. If it is max then your cpu is the bottleneck. Also look at the v-sync is off.

It also depends on the game you're running and the settings you're throwing at it.

There might be some thermal throttling or you are being bottlenecked by the CPU.

What resolution are you playing at?

Don't turn V-Sync off, set it to fast.
