Utilizing old mobile screen

Hello. I have been getting this idea for a few days but I need help. I have an old Samsung Galaxy S3 its touch does not work. Can I use the screen and convert it into a display device to be used to watch movies. its touch is completed broken and is unusable. there is no warranty for the phone.

If the touch isn't working then how would you load up movies?
