Won't 8GB RAM be a problem for streaming and gaming?

Yeah, though a 1600 would be fine, right? Though if the OP already has a build with DDR4, he'll have extra RAM.

Nope. I can game, stream, and watch the stream with 8gb. And it's still pretty smooth. 1080p btw. Although 16 is better.

Doesn't Ryzen really like faster memory? There are G-Skill Ripjaws (2666MHz) for 1$ extra, or for 5$ extra the G-Skill Ripjaws (3000 MHz). Maybe a good idea? Both would still be within the Budget.

Xeon e5649@4.4 GHz on Asus Rampage II Extreme or Gigabyte x58a-OC (whatever I feel like to set up at a time) , 6x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600, Gainward GTX 670 Phantom, Samsung 840 Evo 240 GB, BeQuiet L8 530W

Just the cheapest name-brand RAM I could find. Yeah, my bad. Probably a better idea to go with faster RAM.
