best GPU for $150

simple question: whats the best graphics card for $150 AUD!!!   i would like it to be a 4GB model and not require and extra power but i dont mind. i can be a little flexible on the budget but not by much. my CPU is a Q6600 and i have 4GBs of RAM

uuum what do you have at the moment and look at second hand market there might be a better one there but new as @MVPernula said 470 or 1050ti

right now i have a GTS 8600, im only just getting into pc gaming and i got this pc from a friend

oh yea upgrading anit a bad idea, as others have said GTX 1050 or 1050ti if possible or a RX 460, or look at the used market near you and use userbenchmark to work out if any other older cards are better than what you can buy new

thats what ive been doing and i found the RX 460 is best for me i just wanted some confirmation

a 460 is a good card, but there might be others which are better look at last gen as well

take a look at my recommendation above - it's a bit out of your budget but not by much, and 1050 is better than 460 by a good margin

yes but i need that extra money to buy a new PSU to support that card but i will probs just save up i bit more if that card is better

There's also a version without a 6-pin, in case your PSU can't handle it. 

Fans are worse though so it will be a bit louder.

nah its fine i will just get the bigger one... its cheaper anyway
