Hello, just finished my first pc build :). And am starting to clean up all the boxes and stuff, but I am wondering if I need to keep it? Like if I need to send something back do i need to keep the original box, or ship it in the antistatic plastic. I am keeping all the paperwork in the boxes but do I need the material (boxes, bags, foam) that they were shipped in, in case I need to ship it back for any reason?

Thanks!

For CPUs I know for sure you're going to need the barcodes on the box. Motherboard is nice to keep too. I'm not too sure about graphics cards though.

You need all the boxes and everything that came with it.

Some companies say keep the cables and manuals but they need the packaging and boxes.

I fold the boxes so they can be flat packed. Then stack all the inners in a corner out of the way. Once the warranty runs out, and I don't intend to sell it, then I get rid of what I don't need for that product.

It's not a race to the bottom.
