CPU Very Random Overheat

Go to solution Solved by myspeakersaremuffled,

Try and clean out your fans maybe

I just wanted to play some Naruto Storm 3 Full Burst and i was plugging in my gamepad then suddenly PC shutdown, after that everytime i saw a boot logo PC would shutdown. I went in BIOS to see 100c of cpu.

this is very random and has never happened in past 3 months (in april i cleaned it and it was really cool until now). I thought it was the GPU since it always goes 95c and sometimes it shutdowns.

I opened my pc and saw that CPU wasnt entirely in but its fans were spinning so i put it in correctly.

(i dont know what might it been). This hasn't happened in 3 months and it only took 5seconds to get it up to 100c it was going really really fast.

Now its idling at 79c idk what should i do.

Your CPU would have to be in all the way, your PC wouldn't turn on then. Your cooler is probably not installed correctly

Thats what im thinking, im gonna install it again and then i'll boot up and ill update if it fixes.
