laptop wifi problem

it"s an Asus x555l laptop.   I tried to connect to my wifi network but can"t. I turn off the airplane mode and install the driver again, restart the laptop. but it is not working. there is no wifi turn on the button or off button so I am stuck. help me, man

 and it"s windows 8.1

Try making sure that your wireless reciever is enabled by going to 

 

Device Manager > Network Adapters > (Something Wireless, or do them all) and right click on it and press properties Screenshot_7.png.a89526d80e0a1ddab955a5df8f3d510b.png

Next make sure that in device status it says the device is working properly, and then go into power management.

Make sure that this is turned off.

Next go into resources and make sure that there is no conflicting devices

If this does not fix your issue, try to update the driver by going to Driver > Update Driver

Then press search automatically for driver software

If this does not fix your issue, you may want to go back to here

And click to roll it back, although this may not work, and can mess it up or even brick it in the case of failure.
