Recently whenever I try to open chrome it does nothing.. just wait a few minutes and there it is but now it won't open.. when i open task manager, it shows up there but i can't force close it even tho i have admin rights.. how do i fix this? Restarting my pc worked before but now it just doesn't open no matter what i do

by not being able to force it close you mean end task does noting to it? If so try end process tree. To do end process tree you need to go to the Detail tab.

i did that too and nothing happens.. when i click okay on end process or process tree, it does nothing.. i just gave up on chrome and just used firefox lol.. but i would like it fixed too cuz my bookmarks are there

Uninstall it from add/remove programs in Control Panel. Go to http://www.google.com/chrome and reinstall it. Your bookmarks and settings should be there.

i did that both and still didn't work... well after a few days without chrome(was using firefox), i got vivaldi it runs on same engine on chrome but is lighter compared to chrome when it comes to ram usage.. so anyways guys, problem solved itself eventually
