Ebay GPU sales Galore

http://www.pcgamer.com/steep-decline-in-cryptocurrency-market-has-miners-dumping-their-gpus-on-ebay/

Don't know if this has been posted or mentioned before, but if you search second hand graphic cards right now on ebay, the market is flooded with them. I don't officially support PCgamer articles, but it is giving a somewhat rough idea of recent mining decreases. Maybe an opportunity for people to upgrade/purchase a card they have had their eyes on?? What I don't understand is the probability of maybe a 1 in 3 chance of a 2nd hand graphics card purchased off ebay failing on you etc. mining performance decreasing its stability/life expectancy. What's everyone's take/perspective on this?
