If its old, it could be any number of things. Typically check your powersource, that will usually fail before the CPU/GPU. Also what temps are your CPU and GPU getting to?

yea.. I think it may be time to upgrade.

FYI, you can get some used parts for a steal.

Buy a new 1150 socket type motherboard

find a used i5 4690, 4690k, or something along those lines

get yourself a used gtx 970..

etc

at the end of the day, you can actually build yourself a VR capable machine at a fraction of the price if you're thrifty.

If you test anything you buy on ebay right away within 30 days, they have an automatic refund policy even if the seller doesn't have one.

A lot of people don't know to take advantage of that ;)

Is that when playing games or not?

Yeah cause if that is under load your fine, your gpu/cpu could get into the 80's and still be technically fine.

Yes it is when playing games like Counter Strike, Rust

Then your temps are perfectly fine, time to replace the PSU.
