ZeroOne01101101

Hi, i need some fan-Advice for the s340 elite

Im considering 3x140 and 1x120, what do you think? (also, should i get an extra heatsink for the r5 1600 or does the stock cooler do?)

The stock cooler is fine up to about 3.8GHz. I'd get 3x 120mm for the front, 2x 120mm for the top, and 1x 120mm for the rear.

the s340 elite (link here:https://www.nzxt.com/products/s340-elite-matte-white) only holds 4 fans total

do you know any silent but good Fans for my gaming rig?

Be quiet silent wings are good AFAIK. I'd get Corsair HD 120 RGB fans, personally.

the defaults are perfectly fine. i have the 2 defaults as intake in the front and one 140mm bequiet pure wings 2 on the top as exhaust (to help cool the cpu cooler). temps never get above 80 degrees celcius on my cpu, with 1.3V, and gpu never hitting 75 degrees celcius, with OC as well.

btw, remember to quote people if you want them to know you replied

~i5-7600k @5GHz ~Be Quiet! Dark rock 3 ~MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8G ~Gigabyte GA-Z270-gaming K3 ~Corsair Vengeance Red led ~NZXT S340 Elite

you can, but you will have neutral airflow. that isnt bad, you can definitely do it. personally i want positive, but neutral is just as good.

so you can do that what you wanted to do
