yes it's useless because using your phone and typing instead of leaving it away or mount it on your car is extremely safe and everyone should do. voice navigation isn't pointless

Nevermind people who have disabilities that won't enable them to type effectively, if at all (e.g., blind people)

and even perfectly healthy person like me hates typing on a small phone. my big ass thumb just hates it

I use android auto to connect to my Sync 3 system in my vehicle. Voice commands allow me to never take my hands off the wheel. I can search for locations to drive to and change my spotify playlist all with a few words.

Has anyone ever had the problem of being re-routed during navigation and then getting lost 20 mins out of your way?
