Whether or not it's a good deal is up to you, strip is magnetic and can be applied as a tape if you choose. It connects with a standard molex, with an RF remote to control the effects

Pretty much any 5050 LED strip will work. They're about $1/meter most of the time. No need to get extra-bright/waterproof/fancy adhesive since it's going inside a computer case where almost any strip will already be too bright, water shouldn't be present, and mounting should ideally be out of direct line of sight.
