Keeps Shutting Down

my computer keeps on shutting down even though i have all of the latest windows updates

I'm running a core i5 4440 

8gb ram

gtx 1080 

gigabyte   GA-B85M-DS3H    MB

I've tried lowering the power intake to the GPU as I have only a 500w PSU and it seemed to work ok but now it shuts down for no reason 

any advice is greatly appreciated

To check for insufficient wattage, remove the GPU from your PC and operate normally and then check for any reboots.

i have don ive installed after burner and ramped down the power draw and it still does it 

ive even swapped it for my GTX 960 too

What are the temperatures?

nothing overheats     cpu is about 40 degrees and gpu never surpasses 50
