Howdy folks!

I bought last month a GTX 645 from a used-parts website here in Ireland to make a cheap gaming machine to use instead of my laptop. Saturday I finally got the last parts to get the system up and running however the computer refused to boot up. It worked without problems with the integrated graphics and with a 1050 I borrowed to check if the ports were functioning properly. After taking the card out I got the following message:

> boot failed at "checkpoint [0095]" Contact Dell support

The machines I tried it on are a pair of Dell Vostro 260s with i3-2120 (the slim ones, that's why I couldn't test it earlier). Both machines work fine with both integrated graphics and the 1050.

Now, I can only think of two options: either the card is busted or it needs more power than the 1050 and the slot can't provide it. I do recall people saying that some RX 460 cards didn't work in pre-built office machines while the 1050 or the 1050Ti did. Maybe it's the same here? The card has no external power connection so I'm lost... Also here is the page with the official specs: https://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-645-oem/specifications

Should I try it in a different computer once more perhaps? One with a proper off-the-shelf motherboard instead of an OEM office PC?
