Headset upgrade

I want to upgrade for a Hyperx Cloud 2 since mine broke a few days ago. I loved that headset, sound was good but most of all i loved the whole "modular" aspect of it. Is there any other headset that offers better sound quality and has the same modular structure the Cloud 2 has?. Mainly removable mic and foldable. You can recommend any headset you want though, doesn't have to be exactly as i asked as long as it has better sound quality than the Cloud 2.

Do you want to be able to use for on the go as well? Are you just using for gaming and have you looked at open headphones? Quick recommendation is Vmoda; has a bunch of foldable small sets, some on ear and some over ear like the crossfade m-100 quote from audio sticky:

edit: Is your hyperx cloud 2 in warranty, how did it break? jw I have had my cloud 1 pair for years.

Thanks for the recommendation, i'll give them a look. The main use is gaming, but i would also like to use it on the go just as i did with the Cloud 2. They broke because apparently it's fine for airlines to just throw bags around like they're nothing.
