Hey folks,

Just finished up a Ryzen 1600x build and Im having a peculiar problem. I breadboarded the build as I was going and it posted fine. Finished the build and installed the OS (windows 10 home) etc... Did some stress testing and everything was peachy. Shut down the computer and the next morning, the computer wouldnt post. Ended up back in BIOS because I turned on the auto CMOS reset feature on the B350 Tomahawk so I was able to restore settings and get back into the OS. This problem happens no matter if I have the CPU set to stock clocks or have it OC'd. Same deal with the RAM. Ive been swapping out the sticks to see if that might be an issue but im wondering if Ive missed something.

Thanks.

Specs:

B350 Tomahawk

Geil EVO Potenza RAM

Ryzen 1600x (stock clocks and voltage)

GTX 1060 6GB

EVGA 600B

Ill have to check. Its a new board so Im thinking it probably needs an update. While I get that ready I have another set of RAM I can try out.

EDIT: BIOS is an older one. Will update the BIOS after and give it a go.

So after the BIOS update the issues seem to be clear. Im guessing it was compatibility issues with the sets of RAM I was using or something?

Either way, Im gonna test it for a little longer to see if its completely cleared up.

EDIT: BIOS update did the trick. Thanks @johndms and everybody else :)
