Lookin to get a new Pc

No_Thor

Hello all you good folks.

Looking to get my self a new Pc as the old one starts to strugle at everyday tasks.

Need one that is stable when it comes to 3D modeling, animation, Photoshop and video editing. (+gaming)

I also want it to be quiet when I'm working.

The config that I come up with so far is.

Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Black.

Psu: Corair CX650M Bronze.

Cpu: Intel Core i7-7700 4,2Ghz.

Cpu Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3i. (was thinking about the Deepcool Captain 240 ex water cooler, but it's a bit to expencive for me right now.)

Motherboard: MSI Z270 Tomahawk.

Ram: HyperX Fury 2666MHz 16GB.

Gpu: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070

Storage: Samsung PM961 256GB M.2

Storage2: Seagate Barracuda 2TB

As it is right now it cost aprox $2000 USD asembled, deliverd and ready to use.

If it seems expencive it's because I live in Norway and everything is expencive here.
Could get it from Amazone and build it my self, but have had issue with them before (adding $200+ in customs to a $50 order, or not shiping to Norway at all.)

If anyone have any tips to make it more quiet or tips making it more apropriate for 3D work, pls leave a comment.

ps. was also thinking to make a black and red theme if possible.

Ryzen would probably be better in this scenario.

never been a fan of AMD but are open for trying,

Eh, couldn't hurt unless you need the new build ASAP.

Can use the old one abit longer, trying to saving up for watercooling or some more ram maybe.

Coolio then. Ryzen would still be great in case the need changes, just as a heads up.

Not really unless you need 12/16 cores and 24/32 threads. But for the workloads you're planning on doing it's highly unnecessary in my opinion. Ryzen 7 1700x might work though, and it's better than the 7700.
