Looking for Messaging App

Does anyone know of any free texting apps? I don't have a phone but I'd like it if I could text people from my computer. Calling isn't necessary, but texting is.

If you don't mind setting up bluestacks you can use Kik, though it isn't texts.

I do have bluestacks so I guess an android app would work too. If there is nothing I'd be surprised because I've heard of such apps many times.

There are services for sending texts/sms. But you are still paying for the sms. Now, are you looking for WhatsApp style (including Kik, Skype, Hangouts and Telegram) or something else?

I found on an android. Free texting but you have to pay for calling. It is called text Plus and it is on android and possibly Apple IOs.
